Who can become an MCCC member?

Any Filipino aged 18 and above can join MCCC.

We welcome all Filipino nationals worldwide who are of legal age. Whether you're living in the Philippines or abroad, you can become part of our cooperative movement to eliminate poverty through economic empowerment.

What's the difference between Regular and Associate members?

Regular Members are Filipino nationals who are members of Marian Family Cenacles of Prayer Inc. (MFCPI) and have full voting rights in cooperative affairs.

Associate Members are friends and families of MFCPI members. They enjoy most benefits but cannot participate in parliamentary affairs (non-voting members).

Both member types can participate in capitalization, enjoy loan products, receive dividends, and get patronage refunds.

What are the benefits of MCCC membership?

MCCC members enjoy numerous benefits:

Tax Benefits: Tax-exempt low-income members become happy taxpayers earning at least ₱1,250 daily income
Deposit Earnings: Exempt from the 20% withholding tax
Patronage Refunds: Like loyalty rewards for using cooperative services
Dividends: Share in the cooperative's annual profits
Medical Insurance: Major medical insurance for expenses not covered by PhilHealth
Free Shareholding: In Magnificat (Canada)
Profit Sharing: Enjoy cash and stock dividends declared by Magnificat (Canada)

Who can invest in MCCC?

Under the Philippine Cooperative Code (Article no. 9(8) and 72(2)(4) of R.A. 9520), individuals or entities, local or foreign, can invest in MCCC.

This means both Filipino and international investors can participate in our cooperative's investment opportunities, helping us expand our mission to eliminate poverty globally.

What do investors gain and how will investments be used?

What Investors Gain:

A high-yield 5-year Convertible Time Deposit with our competitive 7% annual interest rate. Pre-termination is allowed to enable investors to buy into MCCC's recommended company at a 20% discount before IPO.

How Investments Are Used:

Funds will build broadband access points for farmers, fishermen, and MSMEs assisted and united by MCCC as cooperatives. This supports R.A. 10929, otherwise known as the Free Internet in Public Places Act, where MCCC covers one-time setup costs, and the government handles ongoing internet recurring costs.
